Welcome to the Canoe England's North West regional internet site. It's main aim is to help and inform both paddlers and non-paddlers about canoeing activities and events throughout the North West. If you would like any more information on canoeing or have any suggestions for either this site or canoeing in general then please get in touch.
The North West Region is active within many areas of canoeing ranging from introducing people to canoeing through to National Level competitions. We are involved in all the diverse disciplines of the sport from large scale recreational paddling through to extreme white water competitions.
We have a number of excellent canoeing facilities within the region, among them: Salford Watersports Centre
The region is organised by a number of clubs and discipline-specific committees and groups. Encompassing all of these interests is the Regional Development Team (RDT) which reports in to Canoe England. Read The Management Team for more details on the RDT.
